Fly to the edge of the solar system and admire the unexpected beauty of the Asteroid Vesta.

We have taken real satellite images from NASA and created a topographic globe of Vesta, one of the last protoplanets discovered in 1807. Bright blue and green tones were mixed with deep reds to show the different elevations and terrain of the famous asteroid. Red hues indicate a higher elevation, while blue shows the lower areas. Vesta is the brightest asteroid in the solar system and can often be seen with the naked eye from Earth, making it a favorite of aspiring astronomers and amateurs alike.
